I have the opportunity to purchase a used but good condition Gibson cat-back for $100 obo. Sounds nice in youtube videos, but as we all know, they never do justice for exhaust tones. Sounds nice with an intake, too.

    Fair price?

Anybody running this exhaust? How would you describe the tone (raspy, throaty, deep, droning, etc)? Are you happy with it, or would go with TRD or Magnaflow if you could do it again?

Thanks in advance, I just don't want to blow my money on something I wont like.

i got my gibson exhaust for free. some guy said posted up on TTORA and offered to meet up and trade the stock exhaust for his gibson.

He said the gibson was too loud for hunting so i took it off his hands.

I thought it sounded pretty deep when installed it. i liked it.

shortly after i put it on i cut it short and dumped it after the axle. It sounded a hell of a lot better.

Well I can't run straight pipes in CA, but I'm glad you liked it. And deep toned exhaust is what I was looking for.

    Thanks!

Maybe I should learn to read a little more carefully haha

I see...I wonder why it sounds any different? That's only like 1.5' of piping isn't it?
