Okay so I'm a newbie to this site and Tacoma's. I have searched and searched can't find what I'm looking for. I have a 2010 4 door just put a 3" lift on it and now I found I can't use my stock rims because it will hit the a-arm if i go with a larger tire. I'm looking into going with a 17" rim and want at least a 32 1/2 tire on it. help me out what size am I gonna be looking for with the tire. Also what tires do you recommend. It's a hunting truck not a mudder, but I do want off road tires.

Thanks I'll post some before and after pics of stock vs my lift.

    The money pit begins

So i'm guessing after seeing your truck a 285/70/16 will do just fine on mine

Go with a 17x8 or 9 if you can't find an 8 with a 4.5 backspace and put some 285/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on em it's a full 33" tire so u will need to trim a little or go with the 265/70/17 a 32" tire.

So what if I went with an aftermarket 16" rim and a 285/75/16 tire would it be to big. After pricing all this out I found that to be the most affordable and it's a nitro trail grappler.

As long as the aftermarket rim has the 4.5" backspace you should be fine. Most of them do from what I can tell.

^ Doesn't have to be aftermarket.

Ok so all I want to know is if I go with an after market 16" rim and a 285/75/16 tire on my 3" lift will I need to modify anything?
