engine light on

    o6 tacoma, had scanned got code po138.(02 circut high voltage bank 1 sensor 2) changed sensor 2. engine light came back on after about 80 miles. this happened about 8 times the code was erased each time. Thought I had a defective sensor so I brought it back and replaced with another. Same problem. Any one have any ideas ? Thanks

    Sometimes the sensors are reporting the correct information and you actually are sensing something wrong.
    They are not there simply to generate codes and cost you money.

    Could be a bad cat or mixture is off.
