Yeah dude, especially at 19... If you can't buy mods with cash, you can't afford them.

Well if you think that payments are a smart move and that's the route you wanna go, hit up the company of your choosing and ask them if they have financing options for you. 99% of people want all of their money right away. Many times they'll find themselves never retrieving all of their money.

^^THIS! Don't go into debt to mod your truck. If you can't pay cash don't get it. You will regret it 10 years from now when your still trying to pay off mods on a truck you no longer have.

That would be ideal but you know it never works if you find TW.

C'mon guys! Someone here step up and recommend one of those free miles credit cards or something w/a fat limit and a matching fat rate to go with it! Because when you get so upside down on the card, someone will offer to take that debt at a lower rate and you can just reload the card then! You'll be able to "afford" things like the hover mod, which I will admit, is pure bad ass. Watch your friends gawk as you go across a pond. They won't help you w/the mountain of debt, but you will get mad props from them.

If you want to be lame, then you setup a savings acct along side your checking acct and have a monthly transfer into the savings. And like a douche, you make a plan of what you want to do and nail down the cost, then when the savings is there, you pull the money and do the mod. Or if you're a real dumbass, you look at that balance in the savings and decide to build it up some more instead. Of course, your friends will talk shit about you and girls won't even look at your truck unless they're flippin you off. And that would suck ass.

    ;-)

Huge purchases like homes and Tacoma trucks have to be financed unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Everything else......CASH. Try not to finance anything but homes and vehicles. If you want something, save for it. Your credit rating means a lot, don't fuck it up financing dumb shit.

All wise advice above. Only use money you can afford to throwaway for stuff like vehicle mods. Someone could t-bone your Taco tomorrow and most insurance co's. are not going to pay anything for aftermarket doo-dads.

So then you are still stuck paying off the debt.
