I saw that to. I can't image its accurate. My 06 now averages 20mpg

 

That is an unusual combination of the T/X and T/X Pro packages. It is also nice that the dealer is willing to take the steps off and deduct them from the price of the truck. It sounds like you are all set.

 

Ya I think I'm going to have them put a bull bar on instead so the price will even out.

Rear suspension has three leafs,... and they look almost straight/flat rather than the bow shape I expexted to see... hmmm

 

Those tube steps are being put on in Mexico I believe. It seems that the trucks built in Mexico are coming out with them at $460 a pop. A close look at the tube steps suggests that they aren't even factory; no Toyota name on them whatsoever.

The reason I know is because they came on my truck and I had to fight with the dealer to take them off the price since I did not want them. Also, these are not the factory running boards from Toyota; they are tube steps. They definatly do NOT look factory but appear on the sticker... Odd...

 

My truck is coming from Texas. I'll have to check the truck when it comes in. If it has the 3 leafs I'll see if they will change to 4. They probably won't but it can't hurt to try.

 

So week 7 just went by no truck yet. Dealer called today said looking at delivery 2nd half of this month. Lets see if it happens. If it doesnt I may try another dealer.
