picking up a set of 305/70/16 BFG MT's tomorrow afternoon, and just looking for someone who is running them to post up some pics and let me know if you like them. i'm not really concerned about seeing them with a 6" lift, because i dont have a 6" lift lol. i have the wheelers 3leaf progressive AAL and 5100's set to 2.5". i know i will have to cut alot of chinsey plastic.. but im prob not going to cut the cab mount as i wont be off road that often. couple trips per year maybe. thanks guys!

thanks for all the positive comments! haha the only reason im getting them is because they are 200 bucks for the 4 of em on CL, with a little better than half tread. cant go wrong there, chances are i will get some 285's before snow hits but these should be ok until then i hope... so whos got pics?

Not many people are going to be running 305's and only a standard 3 inch lift:cool:

he has 315's which are 35s.. 285/75/16s and 305/75/16s are both exactly 32.8" tall brand new.. im assuming the 305/70/16's are closer to a 33/12.5/16, as the 285/75/16s are closer to 33/10.5/16s... so with the 1.5" spacers and a little trimming it should be fine. i didnt rub the cab mount with 285's on my reg cab and a cheap spacer lift, so hopefully itll be ok with this truck although the dcab weighs alot more but the tires are also used up..

    3" lift? A.R.E cap 285/70/17 moto metal 955 17x9
I'm running 305/65/17's with 3in lift and they only rub alittle and nowhere close to cab mount,, for street use you should be fine

put the tires on and drive it, within a day you should be able to see where its rubbing so you know what to trim

on my truck it wasn't much and they only rubbed at full lock
