    anyone know if i can get a TRD backing like that for my 06? Id really like more room behind the seats and I like how you have the sub set-up...

    Mine is the stock toyota one that i just used aluminum molding from home depot and riveted on with L brackets.Cut driver side bin to fit kicker 10in sub box to fit.will try and take couple more pics of how made shelf.

    You could do the same thing I did to hold a flashlight in the center console and mount it to hold the ratchet.aeeb877c-c361-3701_c4c3b6cd27a9b705033ecbc48ecab63a9c528224.jpg I just used the clips designed to mount on a wall to hold brooms and the like. Slipped large heat shrink over it to rubberize it.

    All of mine I regularly carry fit under the back seats in my DC. Wrenches and miscellaneous tools in Crown Royal bags and sockets on rails. So far it has worked really well with minimal noise.

    That is super legit, I was thinking of a way to mount a flashlight somewhere in the cabin. I might have to steal your idea! :thumbsup:

    Thanks man, but I cant take credit for the idea entirely. I got the mount idea somewhere on here. but the heat shrink rubberization was my idea. if you decide to do it the easiest way is to remove the inner lid of the console so you can get to the back side of the bolts.

    I’m interested in what others have done to improve this. The plastic is too much and Toyota could have done something a little better!
