Are there any dealerships that specialize in TRD Tacomas?

I've been considering picking up a Tacoma for a while. If I get one I would be somewhat picky about what I get. It would have to be a 4x4, 4 door, 6-speed and I would want it supercharged. I have done quite a few things to my Jeep so I think I have some mechanical knowledge but I am not sure if I have enough to install the supercharger. Are there any dealerships that specialize in "suped up" Tacomas? I would actually prefer a used one if that helps.

I'd go to your local dealer and ask your questions. If you're happy with the confidence they exude then you can go from there. There's nothing overly special about a TRD Taco, its a sticker and a few different basic parts. If you're looking to build something custom, you'd be better off starting with an SR5 and building it the way you want by a local 4x4 shop.

I'll have to do that when it comes close to the time to buy. I just want to make sure its reliable (the main reason for buying a Toyota) and I'm not sure it would be if I did the install

Any dealership will install a TRD supercharger and warranty it for I believe 3years 36k miles.

Keep in mind if you want a 6 speed, they dont make 4 door long beds, with 6 speeds. Dont know if that matters to you or not.

Any idea on how much they usually charge?

I can live with a short bed but if I give up my car I'm going to need a 6-speed

Our sale guy said that dealers get what they get and can't pick and choose.
