You have the tire shop turn the sensors 180 degrees when they reinstall them in the new allow wheels. That turns the sensor toward the inside of the tire so you can properly mount the tire without hitting the sensor.

Put a piece of tape over the light, or unplug the tpms ecu. Behind and to the right of the radio I believe. I taped mine before I found the ecu, havnt messed with it

Its not that hard to pull the guages out and either remove or burn out that little LED. Probably easier than doing the PVC method.

Air it down to 25psi, use the reset button, then crank it up to 40psi and forget it for a couple of years at least.

Ditto. If this product comes to market in the next week or so, I'll buy one. I think if I do the electrical tape mod, I wouldnt worry about it afterwards.

You guys are over thinking this. The product is already out there you have 2 options to keep your TPMS and have any wheels you would like.

Cheapest is a relocation stem your factory sensor fits into the loop on the stem then the stem is bolted into the valve stem hole easy peazy...:D
    [IMG]

Or a universal band and cradle like the Ford setup. You install the band and cradle then your factory sensor mounts into the tab on the cradle. These are expensive but work 95% of the time.

Dont laugh.. this is what I do. I took all my sensors out and are in a pressured capsule in the back of my truck. None are in my wheels anymore

I suggest you guys not use ABS plastic as a pressure vessel. The jarring and thermal cycle inside your truck will cause the material to fail. I use galvanized pipe. I rigged mine up with a switch that lets me know if there's moisture on the inside of the pipe to prevent the tpms from rusting.
