I'm a first time Tacoma owner and extremely excited for all the fun Im going to have owning this baby.

My truck lacks fog lamps but does already have the wiring installed all the way up to the switch socket. Am I tied down to buying OEM lamps and the switch or will after market products work with the existing wire hookups?

This is the difference of $60 on Amazon for a pair of lamps and switch or $400 from the dealer.

The $70 aftermarket units from eBay seller Trendgear will snap right into your bumper openings.
You'll need to buy a factory fog switch for about $40... the one that comes with the kit does not fit properly and won't plug into the harness.

Thanks Rich, also could use some help finding the mounting brackets for an Aries bull bar I purchased off Craigslist. From what I can tell the bar is universal but finding the Tacoma brackets alone are as rare as a unicorn.

OEM fog assembly switch will be more than $40 unless you find one on ebay as well or from a member or something. But from the dealer, list price is $53, they sell them at $66 and Employee discount pricing puts you around $42. I know because I bought one 2 days ago

Wow that's crazy. I walked in the dealer and asked for the switch and they told me OK that will be $66  but I had a friend with me who gets hook ups at Toyota and they sold it for $42, but my invoice showed list price at $5x. I know I've bought them before online for as low as $20, but i be never gone on that website before. Nice! I was just referring to my experience from walking in the dealership but that's a good find

    Ya...
That link is Toyota of Dallas.
Titus-Will is my other go-to for parts, but I like Dallas because their interface has links to the drawings.
