    When I start from a complete stop I get a thump in the back of my 05 trd access cab 4x4. Any ideas ?

    Go have your trans fluid level checked, when they have it right, tell them to add an extra 1/2 quart. Should be fixed, most of the "thumps" we experience at my shop are from the tranny being slightly low on fluid, it was one of our local FST's that suggested the extra 1/2 quart and it works 99% of the time.

    Lifted with blocks? That'll make it worse.
    Try spring clamps, see if that helps.
