Can anyone tell me where I can go to get quite complete detail on how, and the parts involved with, the Tacoma North/South pole vehicles were converted or built-up?

    Thank you,

About the Top Gear record-setting Hilux on the way to the North Pole - it had to be pulled out twice by Prados (same platform as Tacoma).

Arctictrucks.com. I think someone on this site tried to locate some fender flares similar to those found on arctic trucks. I don't know what ever came of it though.

WOW! Thanks, folks. GORILLA ... thanks for the site URL. ENZO ... would also like to know what came of that search for the fender flares used.

BTW ... I live near the confluence of I-19, I-10 and I-8 the leading corridor from Mexico for all manner of illegal commodities. Don't comment on the necessary presence of self-defense tools until you have dodged the odd flying bullet here.
