Can anyone tell me how to remove the deck rails on my 2012 Tacoma double cab? I am putting an extang full tilt tonneau on and I have to fit a clip into the rails to hold it on. I am not sure how to open up the end of the rails so I can slide this clip into each side. Thanks

The plastic end caps slide off. Here is a link to a picture set showing the install of a soft Extang cover.. same principal. Best of luck.

Press in on the part of the end cap that's inside the rail and slide it out. Simple as that!
