Listen man, I'm talking strictly from a safety standpoint. If your leafs are that loose, I wouldn't be driving it around like that because likely your u-bolts are loose. You can dig in your heels with the dealership thing, I actually agree with you on that and think they should take care of you, but from a safety standpoint, I'd tighten 4 bolts to save my own ass over being stubborn and risking a wreck.

I want that guy to get fired or demoted to janitorial service. Explain the axle wrap please. I tow and haul a lot. Usually a fourwheeler on a trailer and stuff in the bed. Thanks for the info on searching my VIN! I had no idea I could do that! That'll help out too.

If I have a wreck then I'm gonna get paid fat dude. Or at least my daughter will be set. The clamp is still in place and holding the springs horizontally, but you can take 1 finger and pull it up or down vertically. It bounces like a diving board. I know what you meant, I'm normally a pretty hot tempered guy and wasn't trying to be a smartass. I'm just trying to get as much info and advice before I start making calls. Is there an app where you can strangle folks through the phone? That would come in handy....

man i really hope your truck gets fixed, sucks that a couple of dealerships can come back and punch you in the balls after all you been through.

the better business bureau is no longer what it was, it's just a money making business that has no pull what so ever, a review on yelp or something has more power than the bbb does, so for argument sakes, haha never use bbb as a defense, because i own a business and the shady characters that use that excuse when they want free stuff, i laugh and say go ahead contact them. Point is, no one checks the BBB anymore for ratings on businesses therefore no warrant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_Business_Bureau#Criticism

anyways, good luck with your truck, i hope it gets resolved and your hate for toyota will be erased somewhat

Not to be an ass, but you are not alone on the road.

Otherwise, hope it get resolved for you quickly. You should at least get the 3 leaf pack under waranty and with a bit of luck TSB 4 pack.

Ok, I am once again happy with my truck. I just left the dealership that turned me away. I spent over an hour on the phone with corporate and they asked what it would take to get my business back at Lynch Toyota. I told them the 3 people I wanted to handle my truck and no one else, the tsb 4 spring update, cpu shift flash, front and rear alignment, and road force balancing on all 4 tires. She put me on hold and then connected 1 of the 3 people I requested to work on my truck. He asked me to bring it in and agreed to perform all the work I wanted. I have it scheduled to go in tomorrow. Thanks for the advice, this forum is awesome. There are soooo many bad ass trucks on here.

Trip 45 miles away to another dealership and time off from work--> $ 75
    3.5 hours on phone with corporate --> $ i dunno $100
seeing the look on that douche bag's face when I pulled up in the service department and everything I requested was ok'd---> priceless

Good to hear Nick!! Escalations generally work; senior associates hate to deal with bad news.

I feel like I won a battle, but I sure as hell never want to go to war. Thanks for all the input guys. This forum is addictive! There is so much cool shit I can do to my truck. I've had outlandish cars/trucks before. I want to keep this one clean and simple. Where someone has a hard time telling what I've done to it until I pull up next to a stocker

    Future mods
body work and touch up paint to get it back to new look
debadging, but I do want to do a all black offroad sticker
    satoshi grill is SICK
    plastidip factory wheels
mild lift. I dunno, 2 inch in front with AAL in rear????

The possibilities are ENDLESS based on what I'm finding on here!!!!:D

Did you get the work done yet? Might not like the harder ride with the 4-leaf pack.

In three months you'd be swapping out the leaf pack with OME Dakars or Deavers.

The only reason we drive Tacos is because Dakotas and Rangers suck even more.

... ^^^ ... It sounds like you got a "Bad Seed Dealer" (maybe some bad chemistry too) and I would go to another dealer ASAP (before 36K) and document this to Toyota corporate in CA.

Keep us posted on what happens ... and tell them that 10 zillion people are reading your posts about them too ...

Its crazy when you get better service from the Certified Master Technician than the Asst Service Manager. I think the Asst is "higher" in rank but he didn't know shit from shinola and was a complete asshole. Mike the Master Tech is the man, knew about the TSB and in fact called me at 7:54 this morning to tell me all my parts came in and to bring it by today. Kenny, the douche bag asst manager, needs to be fired or seriously demoted. I'm not the only person that has had issues with this guy. But after today everything should be resolved and (knock on wood) I won't have to go to that dealership again. Thanks again folk!

All in all, I would be hesitant to recommend Lynch Toyota of Auburn, AL to anyone. Mike has worked hard to make this right, I can't say "they" worked hard to make it right. Now to start blasting on google, angie's list, etc.....

If Toyota Corporate okays the warranty work, it means they agreed to reimburse the dealer for the work. It's profit for the dealer, so they shouldn't refuse afterwards.
