Has anyone done a chrome headlight tutorial with picks yet. Tried to search for it couldn't find it.

The headlights are already chromed plastic... so what's the mod, just pulling out the reflectors?

 

yeah but dont you have top put the headlight in the oven to get it open and again to put it back together. When I have a write up with pics, makes the process go alot smoother.

 

Saw some thread a while back where a dude just took the bulbs out of the reflector-lensed areas, stuck a pick in there to dislodge the reflectors onto their sides, and cut 'em up with little dykes through the same access.

Honestly, I think it'd be easier to just cook and re-seal the fuckers. It's not that hard.

 

my finger tips hurt for an entire day after tearing those mofos apart but dam was it worth it
