How are you guys able to tint the windshield? In Cali, I would get pulledover in seconds. The California Hiway Patrol here are dicks about tint. One time I got a ticket for my front side windows, took it off, got ticket signed off, put a lighter tint on them, got pulled over by the same cop, gave me a ticket for the windows and failure to comply with a peace officers previous ticket. It's BS here.

Go 70 on the whole thing. It really makes a difference on hot sunny days, and dispite what others that don't have it say, you will be able to see fine out of it.

    You will never go back...

LOL, No, I'm not driving like an asshole. Just the cops in my town really are sticklers about tint. I had a cop tell me one time that he could pull over a car that just came of the dealership lot and find something to ticket it for.

I would so LOVE to tint my windshield if I could. How do you get a Doc to "officially recommend" tint?????

It is a "probable cause" stop. You might look like a trouble maker...who knows...maybe that one guy likes tint tickets...

I used to go 5% tint visor on all my vehicles. On my Taco and another car I did 80% over the entire windshield and I'm addicted. Sitting inside looking out you can't even tell it's there. The difference in heat transfer is HUGE though. I think it blocks 59% of the heat/UV transfer and it's noticeable. The first time I noticed it was driving southbound into the sun and after a minute I realized the skin on my arms wasn't hot from the sun the way it normally is. Since then I notice it all the time and even parking it in the sun it doesn't get as hot as it used to. I immediately took the car my wife drives back down to my buddy who does tint and had him do the same thing on that car. I'm sold and will never waste time with a tint visor again.

Love my 5% visor strip, very leery about tinting the whole windshield tho. Although Florida has the laws against dark tints on front rollers and nothing below visor line on windshield, never heard of any one getting pulled over for just a tint ticket. Be a dick to the cop with that tint, yea, he'll make you rip it off, otherwise, your good to go down here.

When i do I'm only going to do 15% just to block some of the heat. I still want to see through it fine at night. It shouldnt be that noticeable where I will get pulled over for it...hopefully
