2nd Gen LB Bestop Owners ??

Just installed mine and wondering if anyome had any leaking at the front corners? If so, what have you done to fix it? Next, On the bow that is adjustable, what notch do you have yours on? All the way back toward the tail gate being position 1. Finally, have you done anything to treat the canvas?

My front corners have gaps but I have never bothered to try and completely seal them.

I keep the front bar in the middle position with the windows on, and all the way forward in the tightest postion with the windows off.

Keep an eye on the velcro on the front bulkhead. You may wish to add additional clamps with a piece of aluminum stock to keep the velcro from pulling loose on the highway.

I have not treated my canvas yet but probably should.

 

Thanks for the reply, once I get a piece of flat stock and a few more clamps, I will push the front bow to position 2 and that should eliminate some of the wrinkles. I also purchased the cleaner and protectant the Bestop provides through 4wheelparts.com. I guess I'll figure out what to do about the corners as I need to.

 

Mine always wrinkles on the driver side window near the front. Its hard to get all the wrinkles out.
