I have a 09 xtra cab Tacoma prerunner. I'm thinking of trading it in for a 09 or newer automatic 4 door trd model. If they don't try to screw me over. Reason being I have a kid on the way. wish me luck!!!

Just had our first baby [boy!] on wednesday last week, and let me tell you, the double cab is worth the space. We can put the little guy in the back seat with the diaper bag and whatever else on the floor underneath his car seat, and still have room for a passenger on the driver's side if need be. Plus, the 09 should have the LATCH system as well, and it makes car seat installation and security easy and gives you a good sense of confidence.

Good luck with the trade, and congrats on the news of the new addition to your family! So far my little fella is only 5 days old, and it may sound cheesy, but they've been the best 5 days of my life.

Congrats and good luck! Many on this forum (myself included) went from an Access Cab and/or Pre-Runner to a Double Cab and/or 4X4 for the added abilities and space.

Thanks bro its my first kid and I'm super excited and nervous. I just hope I can work out a good deal with these guys on a 4 door . I wouldn't let them rape me on a deal that's for sure. If not. My girl wants to sale her Colorado and buy a Tacoma. For the record never buy a Colorado biggest P.O.S. ever.
