Witnessed a crazy rollover tonight going home from Polihale, This guy almost did a head on with another car, over corrected this dude hit the guard rail going 50MPH and rolled about 6 times.... Saw the whole thing, i told myself i better stay back some, this isn't going to end well ...... He was very lucky to be alive, someone was watching over him.

On a side note, my Tacoma looks cool with all of the police lights going on

Yikes! Glad he's okay. I've seen this on hwy 17 going through the Santa Cruz Mountains many times. I had the guy next to me hit the side of the embankment and go rolling right behind me. If I had been one car length behind he would have rolled right on top of me. Also seen it on hwy 5 going back forth to LA...scarey.

Truck looks good to have rolled 6 times. He's lucky.

I was one of the many thosands on hwy 17....From Monterey to my home in Marin. Big lincoln could not handle the curves, took out my right front wheel, spun, spun allmost over a cliff. THE BIG ONE, six car and trucks in all. No one was hurt. Almost everytime a wreck...the ol adage, Slow and serene on 17.

Oh man, sorry to hear about your experience but good to hear everyone walked away ok. I have had a couple of friends pass away on the road too. I also have a friend who woke up in his truck over the side of the mountain. No one saw him go over, he is a mailman who worked the night shift and drove back to SC every night. After what is believed to be 12 or so hours he finally got help. He doesn't remember any of the accident and all of his front teeth were knocked out. Also had a buddy who ran into a deer in his brand new Nissan 4x4 coming around a turn, completely destroyed one front side of his truck...seen lots of other incidents but only had a couple of close calls myself (still love the road though, learned to drive on it lol).
