I bought the following replacement LED daytime running lights for my 2012 Tacoma:
The "Putco Amber 3157 Type 360-Degree High Intensity LED Premium Replacement Bulb" (for those who don't want to click on the link)
When I put them in, it blew the 15A turn/hazard fuse, which really surprised me.
Anyone have that happen? Did I just get a defective pair? Has anyone successfully used them? Or what about a different brand of LED bulbs in the daytime running lights?
Also, I didn't realize (I'm not sure why, it's obvious) that the daytime running lights are also the turn signal/hazard lights. I've heard that sometimes LED replacements don't use enough current to trigger the toggling. Does anyone know if that's an issue with the Tacoma and the daytime running lights?
Any advice/experience would be appreciated.
