Pop & Lock with camera on an 08?

Is it possible to fit the Pop & Lock PL5300, the one with the camera, tailgate lock on an 08? I know it will "fit", but Im wondering if you can wire up the camera to an aftermarket double din radio. Right now I just have a camera above my license plate the connects to my radio with an RCA jack, but Im getting a locking tailgate handle, and was hoping that I could get the one with the camera and wire it up. And is the camera any good??

 

you're def able to use the factory camera to go into ur aftermarket radio

but I would think it'd be easier and much cheaper to buy a mini backup camera off ebay and just stick it in the slot somehow
