Truck's Not Starting...

Damn dude you only have 10,000 less miles than I do.

 

I used to have the exact same problem on my old 89 4runner all the time. Some things haven't changed.

ONE click--Starter--JUST FYI
The starter solenoid engages-but the contacts are worn out. I have rebuilt a few--LOTS cheaper than a new or rebuilt one.
10 bucks and a little time VS More than 100+ replacement.
I do believe there is a "write-up" here somewhere.

 

Take a close look at the battery where the positive terminal meets the case. I've seen two Tacomas now where the stock battery was leaking acid right at the positive terminal. If you have your stock battery still it may be time to replace it.
