My Maint Required light flashes for about 15 seconds after I start up, then goes away. My truck is about to roll over to 64k miles. Is that the reminder for me to get the 60k service? How can I reset it?

So your saying it lights up with all the other lights for a couple seconds when you start it?

    If so that's 100% normal.

    Check out your manual.

If it stays on thats when you have issues.....read manual.

That was it. I changed the oil myself a couple weeks ago (first time since buying the truck) and I had to reset the light. Thanks!

Nope. It came on with all the other lights once I turn the ignition on, but it continued flashing for 15 seconds or so after the other lights had gone out. I couldn't find anything in the online manual for the specific situation.

I recently purchased an 09 Trd OR like 4 days ago. It had 9830 mi on it. I noticed that light staying on as well for a few seconds longer than the rest. Then when I was driving back from Maine (4th o july) the light kicked on all the time.

Seeing as I just purchased this vehicle from a dealer. Shouldn't they have had the oil changed? It was sitting on thier lot for six mOnths?

Most people base their purchase off looks anyway and the dealer uses that to their advantage...
