    Hello Everyone,

I have been getting lot of inquires lately regarding bumpers specific for the new 2012 Tacoma. We teamed up with 4-wheel camper a few months ago to make an expedition truck out of the 2012 Tacoma. We did front and rear bumpers as well as a special extension kit to accommodate the added length of the camper. The responses have been great so far so its time make it available to everyone. Attached are some pictures for reference.

The bumper will house just about any 9500 pound winch or smaller and has openings for 5" round lights (the square ones shown were a sponsorship from Rigid) These are powdercoated black and weigh about 70 pounds.

If anyone has any questions about the bumper I'll be happy to answer them in this thread or by phone at 619-449-9930 or by e-mail aluminess@sbcglobal.net

Love the aluminum weight saving bumpers. My idea, is a street only[thinner metal] front bumper that is aerodynamic, same outside outline as stock, smooth, close to the body, no holes or brackets for a warn. Bigger round holes for larger driving lights. Matching rear bumper.. both nude. Can be polished, or be powdered coated to match truck. I would be first in line for purchase. What say you? Thank you in advance.

    Need help
Great Info and Pics! Glad to see you have a presences here!! Couple questions:

I have CAI that has the filter right in front of the radiator. This means I have to pop my grill off to work with the filter. Can I EASILY still pop the grill out with the bumper on?

I believe your bumpers have a storage compartment on them that locks... If so is it water tight and any up close pics?

This is more a little more in-depth. But with your bumper only being 70lbs + Winch weight (Which I think is awesome!) do you know aprox how much sag it puts on OME 885 springs are should you still run 886x springs?

Do you have any pics of the matching rear bumper you mentioned?

The bumper does not interfere with the grill at all. You can take it off just as easily as you can with your factory bumper

Our bumper does have a storage compartment, but it is not water tight. In order to keep the size of the bumper to a minimum you actually install the winch into this storage compartment from the rear and access the controls through the small door in the top. I unfortunately do not have any pictures of this compartment for the Tacoma at this time.

The truck we had in the shop already had upgraded suspension for the weight of the camper that was on it so it's hard to give you a definitive answer. I can tell you that we have a bunch of the 05-11 bumpers on trucks and none of them have had to upgrade their suspension.

Here are some photos of the rear
