So mike after you do the locker mod are you gonna be pulling in major bro-hoes? Because if you pair that with 35's you'll have to beat the bro-hoes off with a stick :D

I'm hoping it's okay after you change the fuse.

dude there will be so many bro hoes. if i end up staying on plan with 37x12.5x20's on dubs and my 3" lift i will be set. i might add a 2" spacer up front on top of my billies so the front is higher than the back AND extra clearance for the bro necessities.

so i attempted the locker mod for the second time this morning.. :pout:

and got it to work! :woot:

just a small hiccup yesterday, she engages quick, and smoothly, almost like the truck was made to be like that. (idk why they're not btw). out of the 3 tacomas in this state i bet mine is now the most badass.

so there were a couple things that screwed with my head with this mod

1 - my "red/blk" wire is actually purple and black
2 - when it says "lt blue wire" i dont have it. i have two Blue wires the same color different thickness (lucky guess i must've taken).
3 - the numbers on my relay were in different slots even though it is the same radioshack part number (lucky the same number/color wire guide worked).

this is the guide i used BTW...

    1 - Green / Black
    2- Violet
    3- Violet
    4-Pink
    5- Green
    6- Blue
    7- Red/Black
    8- Ground

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about (in terms of the wire colors) but I do want to say congrats. :)

No problem. Always here to help!

Why did you change it to a 15 amp? The fuses are set for the correct amperage to protect the wires on a circuit. You can overheat a circuit if you overload it and have the incorrect fuse installed. Just a warning.

    Glad to hear it worked!

I put a 20a back in, I only had a 15 yesterday so I figured it was ok being less amps, I'd never put a bigger fuse in...

lol yea, my truck only had a spare 15A under the hood so i had to pick up some more buss fuses after work. i noticed that after i did the mod and plugged everything in/put everything back together my truck like didnt start the first time i tried. then it fired right up second and every other time since then. im thinking maybe just the ECU being unplugged and plugged back in messed with it? before i hooked everything back up, i turned the key on and pressed the locker button just to make sure it was done right then i shut the key off and plugged it all back in and STARTED the truck, thats when it didnt start but started right up the second time and hasnt done it since. :notsure:
