08 Tacos due in dealership by Aug. 8th

Hi folks, I'm new here and have been lurking and learning a lot about the Tacoma. I don't own one yet, however I'm getting close to making a purchase. I've been in contact with Chandler Toyota to see what's available.
The sales person I spoke with last night said they are expecting to start getting the first of their 2008's by Wednesday, Aug. 8th. He even sent me a invoice for a 2008 Double Cab TRD Off-Road that I my be interested in!
I told me that the price will be going up by $150.00 dollars, not bad IMO.
I should be making a deal within the next couple weeks.

 

sounds cool. keep us updated. I know there won't be any big changes but i'm curious to see what kind of small things they tweak on the 08's

 

it went up $150 dollars because it is 08??? or just because its brand new?

Damn that sounds nice. The 08 TRD off road has a locking rear diff and a limited slip!? if thats right then thats awesome! If you dont mind me asking how much does a rig like this cost?

 

Thx ndcouch, Can't wait to take delivery! The OTD price on this truck was just over $31,000. Thats not to bad IMO, I think I got a pretty good deal.

 

I was wondering about that to. I not sure if it has both the Locking rear diff and a LSD (in front?). I didn't notice that little detail until I sat down and really got to studying the spec. sheet printout.

 

what about aux plug for mps3 players????

 

If you have a lsd it would be in the rear not the front. i think you mentioned having vehicle stability control? if so that would explain why you have the locker and the lsd. as far as the price goes, i don't think thats too bad considering its an 08 with all those options and you custom ordered it. I'm jealous of the VSC and the side curtain air bags. We have very similar trucks except for those options. Congrats on the new truck, let us know how you like it when you get it
