Why does everyone love diesel engines? Gas is so much better for a small truck with zero towing capability

Edit: We need to start yet another diesel thread

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Sounds like Toyota is dumping their stock on the '13's and getting ready for a new '14. Turbo 4, turbo 4, with 7 speed, please......F--- it, I might as well write a letter to Santa.

And the heated windshield too. I hate the huge buildup of snow on the lower passenger corner under the wiper. Our HL has it, our old Sienna had it, but our 4x4 truck doesn't. Go figure.

I bet they do have a guy that they pay to read the forums. He spends his day reading the various forums and organizing the information that he gleans to present to the Toyota heads. He works really hard and takes pride in his job.

During the company meetings he presents his findings and is either met with disinterest or even worse, they laugh at him. They tell him that the customer doesn't know what they want and move the meeting along. As he sits at the very end of the big wooden meeting table, he sips on his ice water and wonders why they even bother to employ him.

No, you live in BC. Toyota has determined that people in BC don't want that. But they do want blue 6 speeds. Unlike people in Ontario. Meanwhile, in a different part of the country, they've determined people don't even want 6 speeds, so don't ask. Move. If you want a 6 speed double cab, you have to move to Ontario...unless you want it in blue. Then move to BC. But no heated mirrors.

    (No, I'm not bitter...)
