    I have a '08 4 door Tacoma SR5 that's paid off and I'm wondering if it's worth it to do a trade in on a '12. I want a 4x4 now

No one has a 2012 Tacoma on this site. There are tons of threads on this already.

The 2012 got a new front end, and a fancy radio. Nothing else really changed.

The used market is pretty high right now, but I wouldn't count the older models out. I'd look into them too.

If you want a 4x4 bad enough, then it's worth it. You will go places your Prerunner never would have.

If you want a 4X4 and have the money, I'd get it. I like my 2012 4X4. I don't let my wife drive it. And remember it is good for the economy to buy.

I had a 2009 DCSB Prerunner Sport that was almost paid off and I REALLY needed/wanted 4x4 so I traded up. Its definitely worth getting 4x4. I like my 2012, but would have taken a 2011 4x4 DCSB or DCLB Sport if I could have found one.

Yes it is, spruce mica. Ordered it in october and have only seen 1 other in DFW but it was on the dealers showroom floor. I used the gold metallic flake from the spruce mica with a black base to paint my stock steelies while I hold out for a set of 16" trd wheels from the fj. Its an old pic, I have added some goodies since and my bilstein 5100's are in the mail. Tacoma World.... wife says i need a 12 step program! Oh and THANKS! First comment on the truck feels good.

Just noticed your pic, I want those wheels.

Obviously having a 12 will get you laid more so it would be totally worth it.

Hey guys with a 2012, I have a quick question for you.

Is the face of your radio very hot to the touch after its been on for a little while?

    Btw....I do like that color!

It's really strange, any idea what or why? I'm thinking it is some sort of short or something.....I haven't spoken to the dealer about it yet, have you?

I asked the dealer and she didn't have any idea. It seems to only happen after its been on for a while so we couldn't get it hot in the service bay
