Well the increases aren't unreasonable. My first Tacoma SR5 extracab 4 cyl from 1995 cost me 14,000 and the new one was double this year.
Thanks for posting the info

Are these increases in line with previous years? I'm thinking of getting an access cab...will probably wait to see the 2013 then either get one of those or try to talk the dealer down on price for a 2012.

Funny that they're discontinuing the Sport... probably 99% of TRDs I see locally are Sports.

I wonder what their plan is to replace it? That list doesn't show any of the optional packages (Sport, Off-Road, TX, Baja)...

I bet when they say discontinuing , I bet it means they are changing the title to " Limited " like the new 4 runners for example .

DAKOTA TAKING OUT TACOMA 2013!

GUTS
GLORY
DAKOTA

And these?

2012 nor will 2013 be a record year for Tacoma sales. Tacoma sales are down 61% in 2011 from their peak in 2006.

Small trucks are a declining market segment, making up only 2 percent of all auto sales. Toyota must innovate if they want to have record sales again.

No need to innovate when the rest are being discontinued. Sales will be up due to this.
