I just put some revo2 265-75-16 on my 2012 DCSB OR. I know the consensus here states that a bone stock truck will handle these just fine. My question though....

How much clearance should I have between the sidewall and the UCA? I can barely run my finger between them. Should I be concerned? is this enough clearance? Should I go to a 265-70-16?

The revo 2 doesn't have a real aggressive shoulder or sidewall so I can't imagine how I could have run a duratrac or BFG in the same size.

Any and all advise would be appreciated.

I think so too, I just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing anything similar.

They do look good on there!

What size was the tires that came on your truck? Mine came with 265/70/16 bfg rugged trails....switched to 265/75/16 bfg a/t's and the clearance between the tire and uca looks to be about the same (2" lift and stock wheels.) I just checked...the clearance looks to be about 7/8 of an inch...

Sounds about the same as when I had 265/75r16s, but the clearance to the spindle was less. Less than 1/2" IIRC, but not an issue.

I'm running the very same tire. No issues on my stock DCSB. I will give you some advice though, these tire need to be run at a higher than stock pressure. At the stock settings, my truck pulls hard to the left even after an alignment. I run mine at 38psi front and rear. Perfect.

Thanks for the advise guys. Yes I had 265-70-16 prior. My clearance is similar, guess it's nothing to be alarmed about. Thanks for the air pressure advise too.
