2006 Tacoma Center Support Bearing?

    Need the center support bearing for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4DR 2WD. The dealer does not have it at $235.00 The local NAPA does not show a part number for the 06. Will the 04 fit the 06? Are have anyone found a aftermarket that will work? The part numbers that Toyota gave me are 37230-ok40 for the 06 and 37230-35120 for the 04. Thanks Keith

    Here's something worth reading: It'll be louder than your stock stuff but it'll hold up and is serviceable.

    Thanks for all the info and help. Finally got under there and found that the rear u joint was wore out also......to say the least. Going to change all u joints and center support. The 14mm bolts on the rear are a beast. Got get help breaking them loose. Can't get my impact wrench on them. Again thanks for the help!

    I bought the Dorman from Rock Auto and put it in about 5k miles ago, might not last as long as factory but was inexpensive and easy to do. Check out my build thread (pg 3) for lots of photos and info on rebuilding the entire drive shaft.

    Im on my second cheap one. I do have a heavy shaft though plus several impact scars which I'm sure hasn't been helpful

    Yes they are all the same for pretty much all the years from what I have seen. I know of the wookie strength mod but has anyone seen a Heavy duty rubber or urethane fix / solution to remedy the high torque shutter?
