I noticed a lot of people selling 6-disk changers from their Tacoma's that look identical to mine. I was told my radio/CD changer was a single disk. How can I tell the different and more importantly, how can I check to see if I can load more than one CD with out breaking my radio?

Are the changer's marked different? Do all Tacoma's in year 2007 have the same radio??

    Thanks,

    Clueless

It should say somewhere on there "6 Disc Changer". I have a 2007 and do not have the 6 disc changer.

Kinda hard to see the load button in top right corner but you can see text button on bottom right where it says scan on bottom right in the top picture. Also, fm1/fm2 are combined on same button in bottom pic of 6 disc while the single up top has seperate buttons for fm1 & fm2

I think you're right. I was thinking of the sticker just above the CD load slot. I knew there was a way to tell, couldn't remember what it was. This guy got it though VV

I'm sure that tiny number next to the word Toyota on the face plate above the clock hole should identify the 2 different units as well.

I'm fairly certain they are, just can't mix plain and JBLs.
