Hole in A/C discharg line! Help!!!

Hey guys!! About a month ago, I did the big 3 wire upgrade and after I finished, my AC stopped working. After troubleshooting the system I discovered a small pin sized hole in the rubber portion of the discharge line (line that runs from the compressor to the condenser). Does anyone know of a way to patch the hole? Im trying Not to have to buy a new line If i can help it. The hole is literally as small as a sewing needle. Any advice would be appreciated.

 

jb weld and a couple wraps of duct tape won't hold??




best thing to do is get a new line and have a professional recharge the system.

Thanks for all the reply's. I ended up replacing the discharge line, charged the system and it works great. Still not sure how i got a hole in the rubber line but oh well. It's fixed now
