Plastiderp them. If you like it keep it. If not just peel it off!

Personally, I love the black and red combo. I saw a red Taco with everything blacked out yesterday. Looked badass. Made me want to trade the Timberland Mica.

I say go for it! Just remember it's all about the preparation ;). Take your time cleaning and sanding. Theres nothing worse than having to re do them because you didn't sand well. (dont ask me how i know)

You are the only one this affects. It's your truck. If it's what you want go for it.

But my opinion is the chrome accentuates the badges and rear bumper. Unless you did them all black.

It's not new, it's not Mexico
Even though I painted my steel wheels black, I think the chrome looks good with the red.

leave the lug nuts chrome. as they say, "once you go black, ya never go back" prep em and shoot em. like i said leave the lug nuts chrome though.

scuff your shininess (not sure if chrome or aluminum) up real good and make sure to use a good solvent (i usually vote lacquer thinner) to remove all your dust and any other junk
