I know a guy that accidentally backed over a Honda Civic with one of those cuz the dumbass parked the car right behind him! Luckily the guy wasn't in the car, but either way, I bet he learned not to park behind heavy equipment again.

The best work truck ever! I just cut 5" off the tracrac to make it sit nice n flush over the cab. Gas mileage kinda sucks but thats due to all the cable and equip I carry around.

Well since you asked here are a few stats of a locomotive I was on recently:

    Built in 1998
    879,404 miles on engine
87,320 hours run time on engine
    3,105,490 gallons of fuel consumed

    Statistics at full throttle:
    1,050 RPM
4,500 Horsepower (Wish it showed torq figures!)
    2,240 Alternator Amps
    1,400 Alternator Volts

So to answer your question about .29 miles per gallon or almost 3.5 gallons per mile.

They service those on a fuel consumed basis yeah? Not hours or miles?

That I am not sure about. I would guess they service them more on a time basis. For example once every month, 3 months, etc. Guess I will have to ask sometime... now I am curious!

Just got it running about a week ago, going to be a snow plow and heavy hauler for around the place. It is a retired tow truck so has some heavy duty leaf packs and blocks. Rides about as smooth as a running horse!
