From what I have researched about the van they are simply F350 chassis fitted with this van. I would love to take the body off and put it on an F350 4x4 with the 7.3 and remove all of the rear seating. That thing would be unstoppable haha

But in all seriousness, there is a company local that takes old ambulances and sticks the rear on a 4x4 truck and converts them to off road campers.. I have seen three of them locally while on trails and they are sick! You would likely flip one around here since there is not really any flat land, but I would love to have on back home in Texas. I bet they would truck through some serious mud.

i drive one of these as a take home vehicle. 12mpg, 55,000 miles. Ball joints shot, shocks shot, front end sounds like a box of rocks, steering wheel is extremely sloppy, 2nd tranny, radio cuts out every so often, brakes squeak, oooohhh Ford. it looks brand new from the outside tho!

The ride quality is amazing, so is the cabs quiet attitude. First time I didnt need to raise my voice to train people in a piece of equipment, cab is whisper quiet. Only thing I am not a fan of is the automatic traction control. I loved my old cat for that. I could independently control the inter axle and diff locks. There is a "switch" to manually engage for the Komatsu but it doesn't really work well lol

Yeah some of our guys complain about that too. I service those Volvo, and take them out for a test drive afterwards. I like them. I think we are getting a few new Cats, I think the 770's not sure though
