Dude, I had my whole drive shaft replaced due to the carrier bearing under the Fidelity warranty and it was no problem. Took them two days, as they had to order the part, and It was fully covered at 98,000 miles. You need to play hardball on this one as they have covered them in the past on my 2007 TRD Sport Dbl. Cab 4x4.

Ok after three hours of pulling teeth finally got the BIG BOSS on the phone. He said that if it is what Panama Toyota say it is he will replace the driveshaft, brakes, and give me a rental. I just have to get the truck to them and they have to make sure there is no negligance. Which the truck hasn't seen a mud hole since i have had it (unfortunately). So im taking it over there tommorow and we will see what happens.

I have to give props to all of you who gave me help at light speed response times. It makes owning a tacoma that much more refreshing. I was kinda getting excited about maybe having an excuse to do a mod and having an excuse to. But in the end I really do not have the money to spend on it.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
... ^^^ ... You are NOT the first person to have a problem with Fidelity ...

They have a lot of exclusions in their contracts and you really need to read the fine print. Can you cancel the Fidelity Policy and use that money towards the repairs ??

Very interesting reading here (in the fine print) .... Is this the company ??? ---> http://www.complaintsboard.com/comp...services-deerfield-beach-florida-c239602.html

FWIW ... I have bought a lot of Toyotas and many via SET. The last few times, I was told by the dealer that they would only sell me the Fidelity Policy via SET and not the OEM Toyota Platinum Policy.

I bought the deeply discounted Fidelity Policy on my 2009 Tacoma. After going home and reading the policy, I went back to the dealer and cancelled my policy and got all of my money back.

PS ... Now, when I buy a Tacoma ... I NEVER buy the extended warranty and ... when I get close to 36,000 miles and/or 36 months ... I shop for a OEM Toyota Factory Platinum Warranty via this site or the internet in general. The prices here and on line for the OEM Toyota Factory Platinum Warranty have been much better than at the my local dealer too.

And I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a warranty unless it is an ... "OEM Factory Backed Warranty".

I still want to know what's actually broken and if it is another case of the driveshaft seperating at the centre bearing like the pic I posted earlier

Possible vibration issue , mine is getting replaced under the powertrain warranty as soon as the new one arrives from the east coast . Apparently someone is walking it across the country .
