That looks like the body lines of a ranger.

 

I'm willing to bet that was the concept design for the 12' and 13's... Before they came out.

I will cry if they do a major redesign within the next few years especially if they do a small V8, more fuel efficient bigger V6 or a diesel...

Guess I'll just have to trade!!!

Ha. Yeah, I couldn't figure out why it looked so familier then i saw a newer 4 Runner today and realized where the front end of that pic came from.

 

i bet they redesign in 2015.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw it.

The roof lines on the silver concept drawing look like they would compliment the front end design of the '12-'13 models.

It looks like if they had done the full redesign in 2012, that is the direction they would go.

I can't see them using the same front clip from the 12/13 if they're going to do a full redesign for a "3rd gen". A new body to match a current front clip would not be profitable.
