Would anyone happen to know why a set of digital HIDs just quit working? I've never had any problems with these, but then tonight around dusk I noticed they were flickering then they stopped working. I tried unplugging them, then plugging them back in, they worked, for like a minute. Would it be the ballast? Any help troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated!

Could be a bad relay, or bad grounds

I thought that too, but they've been working fine for the past 3 months. If it was a ground would it not be right away that they quit? Also, these things are meant to last forever, I don't see how they quit so soon

that could also be the ballast it self shitting the bed. or the connections i had water intrude into one of my plugs and corrode a contact one time it did the same thing.

dielectric grease every plug to keep water out and double check grounds and all connections for that matter and if your still having problems its probably safe to say its your ballast.

Both went out or just one?

If both, take off your wiring harness and reconnect everything making sure grounds are on bare metal. Check all plugs on different parts of the harness.

If just one then it's probably a bad ballast or bulb.

No, it's from retro-solutions.. I did wash my truck, and it seemed that they died after that. There are no grounds for this kit..I'm assuming it's already in the harness because they have worked for this long. My headlights are different as they do have the ground wires. I think I just might get some new ballasts
