I just tried to open my driver's side access cab suicide door and nothing's happening. The door won't budge. Is this a self fix, or another trip to the dealer?

When you open the drivers door there is a black lever that pops out and allows the access door handle to operate. It must be stuck in. I am not refering to the switch that operates the interior light.

X2 mine does this whenever someone slams one of the front two doors. Get an Allen wrench and take that black piece off, it should pop back out

I took it to the dealer on Saturday. An internal cable came loose. They had to pull the door panel to fix it.

    That fixed mine, too!
    Thanks.
When I got the safety latch out (finger pressure only), I heard something fall inside the door, I suppose I'll be removing the panel sometime soon. (sigh)
Thanks again for the heads up.

Mine is stuck too with the door closed. How do you take the door panel off with the access door stuck closed. I'm sure it's the inside mechanics.
