    ARB lockers and 4.88s front and rear, OME 886s, Dakars, etc., Safari Snorkel, 17"Fuel Revolvers w/ 35x12.50r17 KM2s, fenders cut 3" all around, Pioneer AVH-P4400BH w/ Backup cam, CB/PA (PA Installed), Weathertech Digis, Foglight anytime, AP: front bumper, skids, and pack rack, custom sliders, Warn 9.5XP, dual VIAIR 480Cs with a 2.5gal tank, OTRATTW switches galore, URD y-pipe, RCI skids, LF 240s, etc.
    Does anyone have a plate/tube bumper and still ride at stock height? Good or bad idea?
    Pics would be extremely appreciated!!!

    Relentless Fabrication makes an aluminum plate bumper that weighs like 60 lbs. That would be perfectly fine on stock suspension. Others have had heavier steel plate bumpers, even an ARB, on stock suspension and the general concensus is it'll handle it, but plan on a lot of bottoming out :)

    plate steel and tube bumpers are going to be much different in terms of weight,

    like the other guys already said if you want a plate style bumper the aluminum offerings from the companies posted are about your only bet before you get into upgrading your springs.

    Perkins Performance Sliders, Warn 9000, Brute Force Fab front & rear bumper, OME/Dakar lift, full ATO skids and hi-lift mount, satoshi, Wet Okoles, illuminated 4x4 switch, Diff Breather.
    All I know is that a stock suspension with a plate steel front skid plate sure made me bottom out a LOT. Made me rush and get the OME lift.

    The extra $$$ paid for an aluminum bumper is actually $$ saved over upgrading your front suspension at the same time...;)

    NOW ,if you are like everyone on here just put that $$avings away because you WILL spend it on MOD's further down the road :rolleyes: :D

    I had bilstein 5100 set at 2.5in lift with stock springs and after I added skids an plate bumper I was back to stock ride height almost...stock springs with armor I don't recomend

    OME w/ 886s & Dakkar Leafs
    The consensus seems to be 886 coils for anything 100+ pounds, especially if you plan on mounting a winch.
