I have a 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport. Long-bed wiith auto tranny and factory installed supercharger. Owned about 2-3 weeks. Noticed on a recent camping trip that about 50-65mph range, there is a very noticeable pulsing hum that doesn't go away in neutral, 4x4 NOT engadged. The truck only has 20k miles on it. Doesn't seem to be a power train issue. Could it be the front differential? I checked the 4x4 system when I test drove it. Went in and out fine. Any suggestions as to what it might be? The truck actually rocks a little back and forth with the hum/vibration. Increases/decreases with speed. Notice between 30+ mph all the way to 65-70.

some of this, a little of that
Have you had the tires checked for ot of round as well as the balance rechecked. Start with the easy stuff and go from there.

Brand new tires 5 days ago. 265/75/16. Balanced and aligned at the same time. Cruise control on or off it still does it. Actually gets quite loud where all occupants can hear, feel and sense the "rock" as the vibrations/hum are present. The problem actually gets louder and faster with increased speed. Let off the gas, still present. Neutral, still present. High low speeds, still present.

maybe check your carrier bearing. That could be a possibility

if you just got new tires and its started now, i would suspect a bad tire. could be wrong tho. maybe you got some loud tires. check tirerack.com for reviews of whatever you got to see what people say.
