I say Suspension first. I would go kings all around, TC upper control arms, deavers or AP leaf pack, wheel spacers and 33's of your choice. :D

I don't know ... the SC requires premium gas ... and it will drink more of it. Cool beans if you can swing the higher ongoing costs. Then again, it is a sweet add on.

That is what the website says but ask your local dealer and see what they say. Some can and will work it in to the financing but they might not do the install until after you have signed all the paperwork for the truck.

    Both choices hurt gas.

Thanks for the input. I'll enjoy my own thread to respond to without hijacking someone else's conversation.

You are right. However, I'm not too worried about gas. Our current vehicles require premium gas and it's no big deal. Roughly .25 cents extra a gallon, 20 gallons, 5 bucks a week, 20 bucks a month extra. Lake gas for the boat, now that gets expensive on the weekends.

I wouldn't be using my truck for any road trips either, we'd take the family car. But it is something for some to consider.

But I've gone with you guys here and really want the supercharger. One shot deal. Just need to sell this extra SUV we have and take the money to the dealership. Not sure how fast all of this can happen and if/when they will have what I want available, but I will keep you updated, and when that happens, photos!

Either way you won't be able to resist and you will end up with it all sooner or later. S/c would be nice to start with then when all paid off you you will have that extra hp to push ur 33"s or 35"s. yes u will end up with them. Lol if you want to not spend money get off this site right now. It will make you broke. Haha good luck with everything

Yeah, they kinda cheated the system for me since i bought my truck out of state. I had to buy it, then they ordered the s/c and installed it, though i actually never picked it up before it was installed...17 miles on it (and the s/c) when I made it to the dealer and actually signed the papers and drove it away.
but yeah, it's not supposed to work like that...as for the financing, i went through my bank, so they only asked how much they should write the check for

Supercharger. I threw it in the financing, no huge hit.

I hate when people quote a website fine print without actually investigating at all.
Essentially here is the situation, dealerships WILL finance the supercharger. This is just fact. Many people will attest to it.
Whether they charge you 4000 dollars more for your truck, then give you the supercharger for free, it doesn't matter. The fact is the supercharger won't come from the factory on your truck, hence it has to be over the counter installed. If you are buying your truck and want the supercharger financed with it, that will not be an issue. They just have to work the numbers.

Personally I would go lift and tires.....Supercharger would be nice but how often would you use it really? at least with lift and such people can stare as you go by and marvel in what an awesome truck you have!

I can use the supercharger every time I drive the truck....

Update: I purchased a 2012 DCSB Super White TRD Sport today. Had the dealer add in the TRD Supercharger to the deal plus some other items including TRD exhaust. So the dealers can finagle the financing of the supercharger into the deal somehow. I am basically buying the supercharger with my cash down and trade in but it is in the overall deal. I will state that it was an expensive option to add, $6000 installed by dealer before I take delivery of truck.

I'm hyped and still a little numb I just spent so much money...but nonetheless it is going to be awesome. Don't have the truck yet, it's still in route to dealer from port or wherever. They get it in a week or so and then have their dealer installed items to take care of. Can't wait...I spoke with them about warranty regarding lift and such and my dealer stated if I had it done by the folks who they have a handful of trucks modded from they would still honor the warranty. Pics to come in a few weeks.

That feeling goes away quick once you start driving. Then you will not want to drive any other vehicle. It is extremely addictive. Congrats on the purchase. cost is a little steep but if it is being worked into your financing then it is worth it. Just prepare for that whine....
