New Tacoma owner!

Hi guys my name is William first time tacoma owner. I just picked mine up yesterday at the Longo Toyota in El Monte. It is a double cab 2010 tacoma prerunner sr5 with TRD sport package. I'm coming from a 1997 4runner lifted 3" with 31" BFG goodrich A/T KOs and also a member of the T4R.ORG forum. The reason why I got rid of my 4runner was because of a knock sensors issue. Got them replaced, thought it was the ECM got that replaced as well and still couldn't find the issue. Even if that were fixed I had leaky rear axel seals as well and smog and tags AND insurance due next month so it wasn't worth all the expense. Traded my 4runner in and got a pretty awesome truck. It isn't a 4X4 long bed double cab which I really wanted to get, but I figured I don't off road a lot so it was something I can do without. my 4runner was a SR5 2WD as well with 180k.I did have a few questions about the truck.

Is there any issues regarding engine or suspension, transmission?
Does anyone know if the extended warranty that I purchased will be void if I lift my truck? because I plan on a 3" lift with some 33" tires.
Any cool mods that are cheap and performance enhanced? I did the deckplate and ISR mod when I had my 4runner.
For my year 2010 Tacoma prerunner SR5 TRD sport what is my city and highway? I can't find a solid answer.
I'm sure some of these questions can be answered using the search bar, but it's easier I feel to do it this way than search tons of threads without a good answer.

another quick question, if I wanted to go to 285/65/17 tires would i need to lift it? will it look weird to have 265/65/17 tires on a 3" lift?
