Think I am the only one rocking 255/70/17

I went for gas mileage with my choice, skinnier than stock and light weight compared to most. I know picking a highway tread tire might have netted some better mpg but they just look way out of place on trucks.

Running the hankook atm's, from what I remember when I called Hankook they were 34 or 35 pounds in standard P load rating.

Any of the P255/75 and taller All Terrain tires jump to about 43+ pounds

Hankook makes a P255/75/15 now but not when I purchased, kind of wonder what they weigh in at.

No complaints had them for about 6K now.

You are correct the 255/75 tire is P rated. I believe it was not made when I bought my 255/70's

I wanted to go a little taller and the 255/75 would have been perfect if the weight of them was low enough.

I do drive alot on road compared to off but when I do get to a job site or a remote one the tires are nice. I think the taller 75 series would be a little soft in the side wall for in P if you had to make a sudden turn. I can feel it a lil in the 70 already.

Here is the list of sizes they offer in 17 for P and LT
