Top plate spacers are bad if you actually plan to use the truck off-road. Get a Toytec AAL for the rear and some Bilstein 5100's for the front.

What's the negative side of the spacers up front and lifting blocks in the back? The billsteins are 300 and the spacers are like 70 bucks. I'm new to off roading
my 2012 Tacoma 4x4 is my first off road truck I've owned.

so if i understand correctly, adding the 5100's in the front would allow me to add 1.75" of lift (if adjusted that way) and that should 'level' the truck out and i could use the stock springs in the front?

marathon superhide max-4 seat covers, weathertechs, maglite mod, 20% tint, 2" leveling kit, leaf spring tsb.
I've had this exact kit on my truck for about 2.5 years. It's suited my needs fine. Rides like a lifted truck...almost like stock and I get compliments on the trucks stance all the time. By no means is it the best way to lift your truck, but if your truck sees mostly pavement or mild dirt trails like mine does, it's a good start for the money.

Correct. I was a little nose-high at 1.75" front and stock rear but I helped install them on another members truck this last weekend and he was level. It will be very close.
