This weekend I decided to have some fun... I did my first mods on my taco. I posted before and afters. Posting this for feedback.

Painting chrome grille to color match and homemade a satoshi
    Line-x on lower front bumper
Painting rear chrome bumper to color match
    Tail light tint

Its a start, but I ran out of weekend!

I didn't plan on making the satoshi this weekend, but while I had the grille out painting it I decided to go ahead. I looked everywhere for mesh I could get the same day and finally I found my prize at... Home Depot. They had this mesh in their building supply area for $6.99 for an 8ft sheet. Dont let the price fool you, this shit is sturdy and for that price I could afford to replace it down the road if needed. I did follow the write-ups on here. Without TW this weekend would have been much harder!

No I moved them to the two free bolt holes on the fender next to the battery. I saw a TW write up where the guy did this and it worked nicely.

how did you paint your rear bumper? 1.did you keep it on the truck or take it off? 2. did you sand the chrome on the bumper before painting?

I took it off the truck. I took everything off of it so I didn't have to tape anything up. After I had all the plastic off I sand blasted it. Cleaned it up and primed it. It was the easier part of the weekend.

I have thought about painting the wheels but I cant decide if I should just sell them and go for aftermarket. I do want some black wheels though. My dad owns a body shop so I got him to mix me up some paint and clear coat. I followed a write up on here for the head light mod and it worked perfectly!
