Did you put the sensors in the new wheels? If not, that's why the light is on.

when the new wheels and tires were installed did the tires sensors from your old wheels and tires get installed or did the new wheels and tires come with new tires sensors? if the new wheels and tires already had new sensors then your need them recalibrated for your emc unit. i would also check to see if they placed tire sensors were placed or not.

Let a few pounds of air out of one of your tires and see if the light comes on.

Look at the valve stems. If they're plain black plastic, they likely didn't transfer over the TPMS. If they're metal sleeved, they have the sensors. If your light isn't on, they transfered them over. I don't believe a dealership would have disabled the TPMS system.

There is a way to disable it, I'll see if I can find the thread. If you keep your old tires/wheels in the garage and park near them every night, the light will reset every time you start the truck and won't come on until you've driven 50 - 100 miles.

Here's one method to disable the TPMS:

Sounds like you need to make a TPMS PIPE BOMB !!! ...put the sensors in a sealed 3" pvc pipe & inflate to around 40 psi....store in the truck somewhere (under the seat ,etc)...mine's been in the pipe since day 1...works great !!!

I doubt you could put 4 sensors inside your spare... You could pick up a wheel barrel wheel and put the sensors in there and keep it somewhere either in the bed or in the cab. It'd keep the light off.

Best thing to have done was had them install the TPMS into the new wheels.

Check the air pressure in your spare tire.
