Has anyone blown their 120 alt fuse under the hood? If yes what did it affect other than the truck not being able to start. I checked all the other fuses and they are good. But my power locks don't work. I'm waiting on the dealer for the new 120 amp. So I'll see if that fix it. I was just seeing if anyone has experience with this.
    Thanks, Andrew

as far as i can see is the locks, power windows, radio, fans. seams the whole center consol isnt working. but the dash works. ive pulled all the fuses and they are all fine. i really hope they are linked to the alt fuse lol. needless to say i wont make this mistake again lol.

Just for thrills triple check Ign1 No.2. I had similar components die on me while working on my ABS killswitch. I swear I checked everything visually and with a multi-meter and it still ended up being the fuse..

My guess would be he jumped it backwards. Can be a big headache sometimes. Had a car the other day have a blown 100A fuse. After replacing it the car would not drive. Ended up having a few other small fuses blown (10A ECT fuse and 15A DOME fuse).

yeah i was putting a yellow top in and i crossed the poles. i didnt know that you could get the terminals on different sides. so that was the thing that got me. i was super pissed at my self. what a pain in the ass to get the fuse in and out. but live and learn eh?
