Anyone know a part number for this muffler? Have a 2011 2TR. Looking online it appears they list it for the 4.0 motor? Or, are they universal and just match exhaust pipe diameter?

    Thanks

as long as the diameters match up it can be used on any vehicle. I have this muffler on my 06 4.0 btw and i love it. Has a nice roar with no annoying drones

I got one its alright, nice rumble at low rpms, seems to help me keep my foot off the gas since it has more sound in the lower end

Is the rest of your exhaust stock? I have the dynomax catback with this muffler and its pretty quiet only roars >2.5k. But since I put the LT headers it changed all that now it roars at like 3-3.5k

Sounded like ass on my '87 MR2. Nowhere near the same engine as the 2TR, but just my experience with one on a 4 banger. Will sound completely different on a V6.

Yep everything else is stock agree on the >2.5k rpms roar and mostly in 1st and 2nd. No highway drone whatsoever.

i had one on my GSR, it was real nice. nice low rumble, quiet when just putzing around and then if you got on the throttle it really opened up. i'd be interested in knowing what it sounds like on a bigger motor.
